been trying to eat my way to better skin
Honestly right, I've spent so long slathering things onto my face that I kind of forgot about what I'm actually putting in my body. Had a bit of a rethink after my skin was just... dull and tight for weeks.
Started being more deliberate about hydrating foods — cucumber (boring but it works), avocado on basically everything, oily fish a couple of times a week. Added a small bowl of edamame most evenings because someone mentioned it and I figured why not. Noticeable difference after maybe two weeks? Hard to say if it's one thing or everything combined.
Salmon or mackerel a couple of times a week, big difference in how plump my skin looks tbh. Avocado — I was sceptical but I eat it most days now and my dry patches have calmed down. Cucumber + plain yoghurt as an actual snack not just a face mask lol.
Still doing collagen in the morning, still stressed at work, so my face is never going to be fully sorted. But this feels like it's actually doing something rather than just hoping for the best.
